FISTERRA

Its name comes from latin finis terrae, end of the world; and it's also the final point of the Camino de Santiago.

Fisterra is located in the Cape Finisterre, that it was declared European Heritage in 2007 by its rugged landscapes and breathtaking beach.

FISTERRA LIGHTHOUSE

It's the most important lighthouse in Costa da Morte. Its light drives ships on these dangerous waters.

After Santiago de Compostela Cathedral, it's the most visited place in Galicia.

Finisterre is surrounded by beaches, some with great surfing strong waves, and others with calm, clear waters.

CAMINO DE SANTIAGO

The Camino de Santiago to Finisterre, passing Muxía, It is a kind of epilogue divided into four stages that pilgrims venture to undertake after visiting the Apostle to see themselves the "end of the world".

SAINT MARCOS CASTLE

This fort was built in the eighteenth century in order to defend the coast from attacks by foreign vessels

Nowadays, it's a museum that shows fishing evolution through time.

TOURIST FISH MARKET

In this building, the fish coming from the sea is auctioned and the visitants can see how this first sale is made.
